OA Ledger Privacy Policy

To provide and improve OA Ledger, we collect information you provide and data generated when you use the app.

Account information: name, email address, phone number, user ID, country, language preference, and business profile details such as business name and type.

Business records: financial records you enter, including sales, purchases, expenses, products, inventory, stock levels, services, customers, suppliers, debts, payments, and any notes or voice notes attached.

Support and communications: messages, emails, and details you share when you contact support or use the Help & Support features.

Product-interaction data: which parts of the app you use, the number of records created, feature preferences, settings, and error or crash reports that help us keep the app stable.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide OA Ledger app functionality and maintain your account.
• Generate business reports, summaries, receipts, and statements.
• Improve app performance, reliability, and features.
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• Protect the service and our users from fraud, abuse, or security risks.
• Send important account, security, and service messages.

OA Ledger does not sell your personal data. We do not use your information to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes.

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us host the app, store data, send emails, and process voice input. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us. We may also share information when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

We protect your information using encryption in transit, secured cloud storage, database access controls, and row-level security rules. Passwords are never stored in readable form. You can also add a PIN or biometric lock in the app for extra protection.

We keep your business records and account information while your account is active. If you delete your account, your records are removed from active systems and later removed from backups on our normal backup cycle. Some information, such as payment history, may be kept where required by law.

You can download your reports and permanently delete your account from the OA Ledger Settings page. When you delete your account, your business data is scheduled for removal and will be erased from active systems.

OA Ledger is intended for business owners aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will show you the updated version in the app and ask you to review and accept it before continuing to use OA Ledger.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can update most information directly in the OA Ledger Settings page. To exercise other rights, email us at olalara08@gmail.com.
