OA Ledger Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, preferred name, email address, phone number, country, language choice and business profile (business name, type, address).

Business records you enter: sales, purchases, expenses, products and stock, customers, suppliers and debts.

Usage information: which parts of the app are used, how many records are created, error reports, device and app version, and sign-in activity. This is used to keep the service working.

Voice: only when you press the microphone button. Your speech is converted to text so the entry can be created, and read back for your confirmation.

Each business's records can only be read by that business's account. Other businesses on OA Ledger can never see them. This is enforced in our database with row-level security rules, not only by hiding information on the screen.

OA Ledger administrators and support staff do not view your individual sales, expenses, purchases, profits, debts, customer balances, prices or transaction details. Our own admin systems have no access path to those figures.

Staff can see limited account and platform information: business name, business type, account status, owner name and email, sign-up and last-active dates, language and whether voice is enabled, stock levels for troubleshooting inventory problems, how many records were created (counts only, never amounts), support tickets you send, technical error reports, and your OA Ledger subscription payments. Sensitive staff actions are recorded in an audit log.

Information is encrypted in transit, stored on secured servers, and protected by database access rules. Passwords are never stored in readable form. You can add a PIN or biometric lock, and you can sign out of all devices from Settings.

We use your email for confirmation, password recovery, security alerts, and optional summaries and low-stock alerts. Our emails come from the Olalara Enterprise domain. We do not sell your email address or send it to advertisers.

When you are offline, entries are stored on your device and synced to your account when internet returns. If you uninstall the app before syncing, unsynced entries can be lost.

We use trusted providers for hosting, database, email delivery and speech processing. They may only process information to provide those services to us. We also share information where the law requires it.

We keep your records while your account is active. If you delete your account, your business records are removed from active systems and later removed from backups on our normal backup cycle. Some records (for example subscription payment history) may be kept where the law requires.

You can view and correct your information in the app, download your business reports, and permanently delete your account from Settings. You can also ask us to explain what we hold about you.

OA Ledger is for business owners aged 18 and above and is not intended for children.

If we change this policy materially, we will show you the new version in the app and ask you to review and accept it. We record the version, date and time you accepted.
